Lunar graphics & signs® offers full color single or double sided sandwich board signs at unbeatable prices in and around the city of Calgary. All our A frame signs are manufactured in Calgary using various different techniques.
We have three types of A-Frames based on the material that the boards are made of: hard plastic, Crezon or metal frame. Depending on the model, some Plastic Sandwich boards may require filling with sand, etc., while Crezon sandwich signs do not have such requirements as the material itself is heavy enough that the sign is not easily wind-blown. Crezone substrate (i.e. board) is essentially a type of plywood specially made for the signage industry – primed, coated, and suitable for outdoor use; resilient for windy Canadian weather, the Crezon substrate used for our signs is rated minimum 5 years outdoors* and it is coated with an oil-base paint on the “good side” before graphics are printed or applied.
Based on the Production Process used to create the Graphics, applications can be done in one of two ways:
– VINYL CUT and applied
– DIGITAL PRINTED vinyl and installed directly on top of substrates

– SANDWICH BOARDS WITH REPLACEABLE TEXT INSERTS:
We can manufacture and supply Sandwich Boards / A-Frames with Replaceable Inserts System. Inserts are made of 4mm Coroplast (Corrugated PVC), Expanded Rigid Foam PVC (e.g. Sintra, Celtec), or Acrylic.
Double Sided SANDWICH BOARDS
We can manufacture and supply Sandwich Boards / A-Frames which are reversible: flip the boards around and expose the otherwise hidden inside graphics/ prints. Typical uses: Residential and Commercial Real Estate signs (e.g.: “For Sale” Graphics on one outer sides. After property gets sold, the board is flipped around to expose the formerly inner sides with “Sold” Graphics). Very convenient!
